SCRAPS

So heres the thing. If you are loyal to my blog, you read my last post re: my obsession. Well its getting worse as it has begun to cost me more and more to do these little projects of mine. So I am going to try something new. I am looking for fabric scraps. I dont care where they come from, I dont care if I have to pay a small amount for them. I just want scraps. I emailed some friends who I thought may have had some ideas, but nobody really seems to know so I have now opened up my query to the world. I want fabric scraps. Where do I find them? I am not talking about fat quarters, or remnants either. I am talking left over pieces of fabric from someone elses project. Where can I get them? HELP! Candra, you must know. Right?! Also, I ran into a friend at the fabric store today, go figure, and she made the most adorable Happy Birthday banner. When the latest projects are complete, I will move on to that. SO FUN! Should I start a sewing blog?

I'm jealous that you know how to sew and be creative..that is one of my goals in life and Cody's mom has been slowly trying to show me how to sew. It's pretty fun, but I always need more time and patience :) haha (story of my life) well take care..we miss you guys! xo

Does your ward have a Yahoo Group or anything? That'd be a good place to let people know you are willing to take their old fabric scraps off their hands.

I'd check out consignment-type stores and see if you can find any cool vintage type clothes that could be cut into scraps. Good luck, my Precious. And please do share whatever you find out.
