So a few of you may know that I am a huge fan of reading. I read all the time, and I will read anything that sounds interesting. This year, Dev and I set a goal to read one book each month. That wont be hard for me I dont think because I love to devour whatever I am reading. I think it bothers Devin a little bit that I dont take my time reading something that I am interested in. Anyway, I decided to make a list of books that I want to read. I would like to have everyones and anyones input on the books that I have chosen and also if you have any suggestions, that would be cool too! Thanks! So here is my list.

Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourt
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne
Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
The Diary of Anne Frank
The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander
Life of Pi by Yaan Martel
Marley and Me by John Grogan
The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards
October Sky by Homer Hickam
The Pilots Wife by Anita Shrieve
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi
The Red Tent by Anita Diamont
Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor
Skellig by David Almond
The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien
Things I Want My Daughters to Know by Elizabeth Noble
A Time for Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin
The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenger
Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen
When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin

Also I am very interested in books about prenatal exercise to ease delivery and anything that has to do with labor and delivery. If you know of anything great, let me know. I am going to get Nine Months Strong: Shaping Up for Labor and Delivery by Karen Bridson, Exercising Through Your Pregnancy by James Clapp and also, Easy Labor by William Camaan. So any thoughts would be appreciated.

He's A Growin!!

I am seriously amazed at how quickly this little guy is growing inside me. I am almost nervous to be measured next week to hear what the doctor says about how big he is. Each time I see my family, they are always commenting on how my stomach "grew more since yesterday" and my friends can hardly believe how big my stomach is everytime I see them. It is just insane. In case you haven't seen, here is a little of the showing progress I have made over the past two months. From around Christmas to now. I think I might start measuring around my waist every few days, because I can honestly feel him growing inside of me and see him growing from the outside and I know he is growing because he has started kicking me hard sometimes. He is strong!! Oh and did I mention that he still has 17 scheduled growing weeks? Not if I can help it. I am not that woman who loves being pregnant that is for sure. I dont know what these women are talking about when they say it is the best time of there lives. However, it is an amazing time just thinking that our little one is growing inside of me. I cannot believe how much I already love him and I have only seen his picture in black and white!! Crazy crazy. I can hardly believe that we are going to be parents so soon. We are so so excited!!

Our WICKED Weekend

This past weekend we got to go to San Francisco and see WICKED! It was our first time, and definitely will not be the last. It was amazing and we never could have imagined just how fantastic it was. Even Devin is raving about it and I know that he was not thinking that Wicked was the first thing he wanted to spend that much money on, but he loved it and I think I could even convince him to take me again... well maybe if we werent having a baby in a few months, and if he didn't have to have bunion surgery on both feet, yeah I know, and if we weren't trying to save for a new car, and save for a house, and save for Guatemala and and and the list goes on and on. Next time we go though, I will say that I will buy better seats for sure. We were in the balcony and could see just fine and I cannot complain because it was so so worth the money that we paid for the seats, but next time I am so excited to sit closer and see even better. Smart Devin brought his glasses and he could actually see peoples faces so I am really looking forward to that. The actors were amazing and they had the best voices and were even better than the c.d. that we have. It was just incredible. I was beat by the end of the day. We arrived in the city around lunch time and spent the afternoon basically walking all around town and enjoying the sights. It was so much fun, but by the end of the night, my ribs were killing me and I was just beat. I fell asleep so fast on the ride home and I really felt bad for Dev having to drive all that way at midnight. He was such a trooper, but fell asleep the second he layed down at home.

A Weekend In Tahoe

Over the New Years holiday, we got to go up to Tahoe and spend the night at a Cabin with my family and some friends. We had so much fun! We stayed up late, ate yummy treats, laughed so hard, played Ticket to Ride, spent over 4 hours driving about 100 miles with chains on the snowless road, slept on a hide-a-bed (whoever invented those has obviously never slept on one and realized how ridiculous they are, enjoyed our last hours with my brother Chad before he left again for BYU, and had fun skiing. Well not me, but everyone else got to ski. I went to visit while they were all finishing up.
